Hi, I’m Karen!

I’m a bit of a creative dreamer and someone who finds joy in capturing life’s most meaningful moments. My journey with photography began in 2011 when I launched Zavack Photography, a passion project that quickly grew into something bigger than I ever imagined. In 2016, after marrying my incredible husband, and soon thereafter creating our little family – I rebranded as Hodge Photography.

For me, photography is so much more than taking pictures; it’s about telling a story. It’s about finding those raw, genuine moments that reveal who people truly are – the laughter, the quiet glances, the fleeting connections that mean everything. I love figuring out different ways to capture those personal, unposed memories that would otherwise slip by unnoticed.

Over the years, my style has evolved, but my vision has remained the same: to create timeless, heartfelt images that resonate with my clients. I owe so much to the love and support of my family, especially my parents, who taught me the value of selflessness and hard work. Their example inspires me to keep dreaming big and giving back.
