My Story...

Hey there! I’m Karen. 

 

I’m an artist. A dreamer. An optimist. A problem solver. A coffee connoisseur. A gym addict. A giver. A motivator. A believer. An entrepreneur. A risk taker. and soon to be a mother (due in April 2017)!

 

I live for my family - they are my rock; my world. My parents are my heroes. I owe my passion for life, love & happiness to them. 

 

I founded Zavack Photography back in 2011. I had no idea where this road would lead me, but I jumped…and now I’ve truly discovered my love for this incredible craft.  While most photographers zero in on one or two particular areas of focus, I enjoy photographing everything I can.  Learning is a passion of mine, and I love to challenge myself by working with different compositions - which is why, when you browse through my gallery section, you'll notice I PHOTOGRAPH EVERYTHING from newborns to real estate!  Sessions with children are my favorite though, because of the innocence they portray without even knowing it.

 

Photography, to me, is my opportunity to share the emotions that come through my lens in my own personal way. it's How I interpret peoples connections. how I'm sneaky enough to grab those personal candid moments, that would otherwise be missed. When i'm able to steal a memory…only to return it in a form that will last forever.

 

I feel that I’ve been extremely blessed by the support and encouragement I’ve received along the way. My work keeps me inspired, while at the same time, giving me infinite reasons to enjoy this amazing journey.
