Ray, Mandy, Chandler + Bosley | H
Every once in a while, I have a session that completely blows me away. The images I'm able to produce are one thing, but the overall feeling throughout our shoot is beyond moving. The Hooker family was a session that gave me all the feels. From the moment I stepped out of my vehicle, after entering their property, I was greeted by three smiling faces, and one adorable little tail-wagger. Chandler, 8 years old, didn't miss a beat - noticing I was pregnant, and offered to carry my camera bag for me. Bosley, the sweet loving rescue, was so happy to be included in the family portraits, and join us on our journey through their stunning acreage. Mom and Dad were incredibly inviting, and informative about the history that is incorporated on their stunning land - but what really got me, was their love for each other...the way they looked at each other. If I asked them to hold one another, there was no space between them. Upon my departure, Chandler was so sweet to give me one his home grown medicinal plants! From their beautiful property, filled with both family history and home-raised ducks, to the way this family interacted with each other - I couldn't help but realize just how blessed I truly am, to have been chosen to capture some special memories for them.
